With reference to your assurance that "the matter is being looked into" vide letter No. 887-CACM dated 24.12.1992, signed by your confidential Assisstant Sri Jay Krishna Ghosh, in response to copy of my letter dated 30^th October 1992 addressed to Shri Chandan Basu, with great gain and sorrow I have to remind you that when Late Shankar Gupta was your political secretary and Bye-elections for Darjeeling Assembly constituency was declared, and at your behest Shri S. K. Todi, requested me to help the candidate CPI(M) Party and without any self interest I worked sincerely to get the CPI(M) Party candidate get elected from the above constituency on which had a great impact on the subsequent general elections for West Bengal Assembly and that inspite of my secrifice for the CPI(M) Party I have never approached for any favour and the same has been forgotten by all. On the contrary, the mafia leader Sanjay Kumar Jhunjhunwala, has been continuously and uninterruptedly carrying out all illegal and criminal acts and activities under protection of your Government.

I hope my past services for the CPI(M) Party will not be forgotten and my complaints will be seriously looked into the proper action will be taken in the matter to save me from the high-hand-ness and illegal activities of all concerned.
