WHEREAS, it appears that present Board of Directors of Navsurya Cooperative Housing Societry Ltd., registration No. 5/CMAH dt. 28.2.83 under the WBCS Act, 1983 (hereinafter called the said society) 16, Bonfield Lane, 1st floor, Calcutta-700001, has been mismanaging the affairs of the society and taking such steps as to cause irreparable damage to the interest of the members of the society.

AND WHEREAS the Board of Directors of the said society failed to hold general meeting of the said society, within the time schedule as provided `in the West Bengal Cooperative Societies Act, 1983;

AND WHEREAS in disregard of the order of the Deputy Registrar the existing Board of Directors of the said failed and neglected to allow inspection of the books of accounts by an officer authorized by the Deputy Registrar of the Cooperative Societies, West Bengal;

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has sought to dispose of the property of the said society to vitally prejudice the interest of the members thereof;

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has been otherwise managing the affairs of the society and is grossly negligent in the performance of its duties under WBCS Act and Rules;

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has committed and has been attempting to commit acts prejudicial to the interest of the members of the society;

AND WHEREAS, the affairs and business of the society have come to a stand still, due to persistent, default and negligence in the performance of duties by the said Board;

AND WHEREAS, immediate dissolution of the Board appears to be essential in the interest of the society and its members;

AND WHEREAS, it also appears that in the Award passed in the Dispute Case No. 43/RCS of 1987-88 Shri N. Goswami, Ld. Arbitrator interalia also recommended for immediate dissolution of the existing Board of Directors of the said society and appointment of an Administrator to manage the affairs of the said society;

Now, Therefore, the Governor is hereby pleased in the interest of the said society to dissolve with immediate effect the present Board of Directors of the said society in terms of sec. 30(2) of WBCS Act, 1983 and to appoint Shri B. C. Das, C. D. O., (Head Qrs.) as the Administrator of the society to manage the agffairs of the society for a period of one year.
